Atwood Innovation Plaza

Your gift will allow UT students to further their ideas vetted through the Atwood Innovation Plaza. This fund assists entrepreneur’s in producing prototypes and apply for patent applications.

A small portion of this fund is used to pay for quarterly pitch contest prizes, where students and community members prepare and present their presentations regarding their product.

The Atwood Innovation Plaza is thrilled to begin building a new permanent home for the UT K-12 STEM Academy. The Academy’s incredible success and enrollment are building solid innovative foundations for the region’s youth. An investment in this area will ensure dedicated makerspace tools and equipment to support the innovative learning so many K-12 youth in these programs require. Specific equipment needed for this academy includes a full spectrum laser cutter, 32 classroom tables, 6 Bernina 335 sewing machines, and 4 room dividers.
